Intro To Tec
This class is designed as the first step into the technical world. Divers will
learn how to dive back mounted doubles along with a series of skills
and drills that will be applicable throughout the rest of their diving career.
Trim, buoyancy, and propulsion will be carefully developed throughout all
the dives.
Duration: 2 days is the minimum but 3 is highly recommended
Prerequisites: 18 years old (or 15 with parental consent), open water cert, 25 logged dives
Sidemount
Sidemount certification is a bit self explanatory. During class you will learn
how to rig, don, and dive sidemount cylinders. This configuration can be utilized in recreational diving or spill into all your further technical classes.
Duration: 2 days is the minimum but 3 is highly recommended
Prerequisites: 18 years old, or 15 with parental consent. (That's really it!)
Cavern
This is the first class that takes divers into the overhead environment. You'll learn critical skills and spend time developing trim, buoyancy, and propulsion.
Even if you have no aspirations to move into full cave, this class is a fantastic
opportunity to develop yourself into a safer, more competant diver.
Duration: 2 days is the minimum but 3 is highly recommended
Prerequisites: 18 years old (or 15 with parental consent), open water cert, 25 logged dives
AN/DP
Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures - While this is technically two separate classes we typically always teach it together. Throughout your certifications you'll learn how to carry and use a decompression cylinder and theory on enriched air usage up to 100% oxygen for accelerated decompression
Duration: 3 days
Prerequisites: 18 years old, advanced open water or equivalent, nitrox cert, 25 logged dives
Apprentice Cave
This is where your cave diving journey truly begins. Learn how to safely dive in the overhead and master all the drills and skills that will keep you safe while navigating this challenging environment. Apprentice cave is an NSS-CDS course. We can also teach TDI intro to cave, which is similar, but has a few extra restrictions on divers. You'll need to let us know if you prefer the TDI course which is slightly shorter.
Duration: 5 days
Prerequisites: 18 years old, 50 logged dives, advanced open water (or equivalent) cert, nitrox cert
Extended Range
Dive beyond recreational limits with this class. During extended range you'll learn how to safely dive to 180ft using 2 decompression mixes. Note that this class does not utilize helium/trimix.
Duration: 3 days
Prerequisites: 18 years old, AN/DP cert (or equivalent), 100 logged dives of which 25 must be deeper than 100ft
All of our classes are scheduled according to the divers need. Each certification has a required
minimum number of time and days, and while we strive to get all of our students certified in the
planned number of days everyone masters the skills at a different rate. Before you begin your journey
into the cave/technical world it is important to remember that all our classes are performance based.
What this means is simply that certification is earned, not given. Divers must master all the
agency required skills in order to receive certification. If extra days are required beyond the minimum that can
easily be arranged for the same daily rate as you pay for the standard class.
